According to Wikipedia, Rennie was just his second forename (being his mother's birth surname) and to refer to him as 'Rennie Mackintosh' is incorrect. It should be either Charles Mackintosh, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Charles R. Mackintosh, or simply Mackintosh.
